Neal’s Yard Pure Baby Oil – Review

The Pure Baby Oil is suitable for newborns upwards, suitable for vegans, 100% organic and is a blend of jojoba, borage and olive oils. It is fragrance free and a little goes a long way when using it for massage. Jess has thoroughly enjoyed having some tummy and leg massages with it over recent weeks. It’s also helping with the dry skin she’s developed since her chicken pox outbreak. It’s actually times like this when I’m so glad I have a selection of creams and oils to use on the girls that are free from all those chemical nasties. I know that what I am using is nourishing their skin rather than aggravating it with chemicals I can’t actually pronounce! Jess is also at that age where she experiences growing pains quite regularly so having a nice baby oil to use when massaging her is always good

Neal’s Yard Pure Baby Oil can also be used for cradle cap by massaging it into the scalp about an hour before bathing avoiding the fontanelle area. You then sponge away any flaky skin which has loosened from the scalp area. The lovely thing about the oil is that it is absorbed by the skin really well and doesn’t leave a greasy residue. The skin drinks it up and you can tell it’s doing the skin good.

I am currently trying out some of Neal’s Yard’s Mineral Foundation and Eyeliner I purchased so I’ll be sure to update you all on that too. I’m now looking at all the products I use (including household products) and slowly but surely replacing them with organic, free-from alternatives. Make-up has been a difficult one for me but I’m now slowly sourcing some great alternatives which I’ll be reviewing for you in the coming months. It’s an exciting journey to be on.

The lovely thing about companies like Neal’s Yard is that in addition to their shops you can also become a consultant like Sue and host parties and have an online shop presence. For a lot of us who are “Stay at Home Mums” this sort of opportunity can really work well alongside the kiddies and when it’s selling products you know are free from all the chemicals we so need to be avoiding these days and it’s something you feel passionate about it’s a win-win situation. I’ve come across a few companies recently who have these sorts of opportunities and I think that as we now live our lives in a different way; buying online, using social networking etc, that this sort of thing is a great way to branch out again without too much financial outlay and commitment.

If you’d like to find out more about Neal’s Yard Products you can pop across to their main website or link up with Sue Adlam direct to ask any questions you may have about their products, about hosting a Neal’s Yard party or becoming a consultant. Sue is based in the Westbury, Wiltshire area and has her own Neal’s Yard website. She is also on Facebook and can be found tweeting away at @SueAdlam

  2. Baby Oil helps in proper development and growth of baby's body. Hence it is a crucial aspect of a new born baby and is necessary.
