My name is Charlie and I'm a 40 something Mum of two spirited girls.
Before having my children I trained and worked within the Hotel & Catering Industry before working in supporting roles within marketing & PR. During that time, I retrained and then set up my own business as a Holistic Therapist offering Reflexology, several forms of Massage Therapy and Reiki treatments & courses. I also trained as an Infant Massage Instructor with the IAIM.
I ran my own home practice for approximately 8 years before moving to Brittany, France where my husband and I lived for almost 3 years & where we had our first daughter, Sophia. Whilst living in France we renovated & rented out two Breton Gites (holiday cottages). We returned to the UK in 2008 and now live happily in West Dorset with the girls and our two neurotic cats.
During my time as a full-time Mum I furthered my training in web design (I must be mad as it's like
another language !) and I embarked on a writing course with the
Writer's Bureau which as yet lies unfinished ! I am currently taking my passion for nutrition further by studying with the Nutritional Healing Foundation for an Advanced Diploma in Naturopathic Nutrition and I'm loving it.
In November 2013, I took my passion for natural products further and launched Sophia's Choice Health & Beauty Boutique, selling a range of natural, organic and nourishing products for the whole family, many of which I have reviewed here. In March 2016, I completed the picture by opening our first physical shop with treatment room in our home town in Dorset.
Sophia's Choice offers a wide range of skincare, haircare and bodycare products, high quality nutritional supplements including super foods and food-state vitamins & minerals. We also stock natural candles, fairly traded toys and much more. Why not pop across to for a browse of our range.

Personally, I
love to immerse myself in nature, enjoy cooking and have a keen interest in health & nutrition including raw and live foods. I have always been passionate about health, nutrition, holistic therapies, organic & eco-friendly products and finding ways we
can make more worthwhile, conscious choices for both ourselves and our children.
