I hope that I can glean bits from Ross' book that will help me to add to what my eldest learns at school. I went to a talk by Steve Biddulph who said it's really important to find a child's "spark". I think there's a lot of truth in that and as parents we have a duty to help our kids find theirs. Thanks for stopping by xxCharlie - Sophia's Choicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02256553594200374259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2361414790500952644.post-59244711296765552342013-05-04T18:13:40.416+01:002013-05-04T18:13:40.416+01:00I read Ross' book Learning Without School as w...I read Ross' book Learning Without School as we were about to start Home Schooling (due to travel plans). I must say before I read her book I was really worried about what to do and my mind was very fuddled. About a chapter in and I began to relax. So far the home-schooling has been fun and great for all of us. Thanks for the great post. The government is sadly trying to stop it being allowed in mainstream schools(hopefully they won't) but independent schools especially Steiner/Waldorf schools welcome it.
